Ebay has changed the information available from search results - I hate it

So, I've been a seller for about eighteen months now and generally content with things so this is my first whinge. From this morning Ebay appears to have changed search results so that there is no seller identity or location available on the first page of results - as a customer I really hate not having that information available immediately. As a seller I also hate the fact that price promotions no longer show in the first page of results so that customers will not know that a seller is running  a promotion unless they click on the specific item. Anyone else feel likewise?

Thanks again for this, none of it has helped unfortunately, so I'll need to take it up with Ebay. Am I right in assuming though, given your response and the general lack of interest in the post, that no-one else is experiencing this problem?

I haven’t seen a change; my search results are showing from United Kingdom, or from United States, or from Italy, etc.

Did anything precede the change for you? Any sort of trigger or resetting?

I did my first searches since this post opened and both location and the seller's name are now missing on all of my searches Countess, no obvious trigger for me.

I'm on WIN 10 and firefox.

Also complained to eBay via their "tell us what you think" link at the top of the "saved searches" page.

It's the new interface unfortunately 😞 I have a promotion running at the moment and I was wondering why I wasn't getting many sales like I usually do. Then I noticed that my promotion wasn't showing on search pages like it usually does, it only shows up when you click on the listing. I rang customer service yesterday thinking (and hoping!) it was just a glitch, but they said it is the new interface which includes not showing the seller's name.

I tried a different browser and it does show up as usual but was told that that is only because the different browsers update at different rates but that will be the new interface moving forward. Sellers name and location not showing and sales/promotions not showing on search pages (you will only see if you click on the listing). Although in my case, my promotion IS showing in the promoted listings section.

If everyone contacts ebay regarding this new interface, hopefully they will change it back.

Why should I contact Ebay to have it changed back, looks fine to me.  In fact it makes the sellers Feedback stand out even more, it may stop people from buying from bad sellers,  although don't like our chances of that

My issue is with not having sales/promotions show up on the search page. A buyer will only see you have a sale/promotion going if they click on the listing.

Hopefully many more buyers and sellers will do the same.

Yes REALLY unhelpful. Speaking of searches does anyone know what "Default" represents? For eg, if I search for CDV in Australia I get 852; Default 64,000+; Worldwide 150,000+.

Not 100% sure as eBay haven't outlined it clearly anywhere that I have seen. I think Australia only is item is listed as being located in Oz(regardless of whether it actually is) ; default is anyone who sells/send to Australia ( and a lot of Chinese sellers have the same item listed numerous times, once each in US$, AU$,£ or€ and ¢ and the listing stating sells to respectively America, Australia, UK or Europe and China. And worldwide is all listings???

This is just my guess and could be wrong🧂
