Hmm, I posted on here a week ago about a buyer having incorrect postage details, that i ended up calling paypal about, long story short, i posted the item, it's at the post office waiting for it to get picked up.
the buyer has given me a negative feedback for item not recieved, but i just checked that it's still sitting at the post office. I dunno and now don't care if they do pick it up now, but can i get ebay to remove the feedback?

to I love my sheep - I will do. I sat down and starred all of the buyers and my own messages in the email, then made sure that i had the screen shot of the postage up on the screen, wrote out a list of the messages sent and the dates to make sure i had all the info ready to call. then realised that eBay support closes at 5. D'oh!
First thing tomorrow i'm calling!
springyzone, i found the same thing, but if your mate goes into her ebay account, and clicks the customer support tab,
The first thing to come up is previous sales, asking if you need help with any of them. click the shoes, and she'll be about to get help!
Your mate may be able to get the feedback removed if they are swearing in it... I dunno if they say bleep or what ever naughty word....
off topic i bought a "used" pair of shoes off a seller a while ago.... She wrote worn once... i nearly fell over when i got them... worn once as in tried on? I thought! Love them!

I hope they won't give you the smeg they gave me, eg:
- We are sorry that you are upset but the buyer's feedback doesn't fit in any of our feedback removal policies.
- To the buyer this is still a negative experience, therefore...
I honestly don't know how to get ebay to stand just once on the seller's side, I tried a few times with very good cases against buyers and all lost, even if the buyer's action was clearly wrong and viloates ebay's policies. The ebay customer service team will gang up on you, one by one they stand and support their team member's initial decision.
Good luck!

Smeg, LOL haven't heard that for a while!
WOO HOO, Feedback removed. No dramas about it at all.
Rang CS, told her the long winded story, gave dates messages and calls to paypal.
Think i got through it as the buyer sent me a message with the correct suburb.
CS apologised to me about the dramas with the transaction!!! Told me i had done everything right! (thanks to everyone on here!)
And i had proof of delivery (even though it was not picked up)
CS told me to message the buyer again to tell her that the items are awaiting collection... and to get her to call the ebay CS for directions to change her address details.... but all i want to do is add her to my special list.
Thanks to everyone for your help with this!

Oh WOW, that's great news!!!!!! As for the buyer, I wouldn't message them any more, just add them to the special list and be done with it. Would be nice if you could name them here so we can all do the same, but sadly, you can't ๐
Happy dance!!

I love that bouncing sheep!
I'm pretty stoked about it. i was all revved up for a polite arguement and to demand supervisors!
I don't think i'm going to message the buyer. If she has more problems it's not my fault or responsiblity.
I'm so sick of her rudeness, that i might sit down and hand write her a message and then rip it up!!!
As for the naming and shaming, i wish i could too. can it go in a private message?
I've been checking out her fb, she leaves funny positives...
Took ages to get here but lovely
Slow postage nice item
Ready for this one
"Should have read description thought they would be bigger...:( oh well my bad"
out of 230ish feedbacks left 9 (not including mine) are neutrals / negs.

You can PM them.
I was reading sellers negative feedbacks last night and was surprised how many I saw with just that "I should have read the description, I thought they would be bigger". Why neg the seller because YOU didn't read the description? It seems this practise is endemic.
I learned to read descriptions thoroughly a few years back when I bought something and didn't read the description properly. I only skimmed over it. What I bought was much smaller than I thought, but when I went back to the listing, it was all there in black and white. All the sizes, weights, etc were 100% accurate. Leaving the seller a neg never crossed my mind.
I don't think a seller should have to say in their listings that the photos are taken on the Macro setting......or should they, to protect themselves from these idiots who don't read descriptions, sizes etc?

sweet,
trying to work out PM's now.
I think lots of buyers don't understand/ care about leaving neg's. They do love looking at the pics and not reading though. i do think that the sellers that are also buyers are less judgemental when things go wrong. and if a seller bought something and didn't read the description there's no way that they'd leave a neg.
As you said, you learnt!
I 've seen a few sellers take pics of things that are small and put coins next to them to show sizes. I think that's a good idea...
The problem is that even if sellers wrote "this photo was taken on macro", the buyer who doesn't read the description won't see it anyway, so its nearly pointless....

My extreme thanks goes out to all you who replied for all of your help and information.
Without you all i would never have rung pp and ebay,
I would have just thought that the negs were the end of it, and given up!
