Fifty years since pounds and pence

I was born in '67 so I have no memory of the old money.
Open day at the mint today. Special gold plated round 50 cent for those that visit.
I wish I was within driving distance to Canberra

How many lollies did you get for a penny? the4master. The earliest age I can remember buying lollies was about six. The most I could get for a cent was eight

Be a good sport and just purchase one off any number of coin sellers here on ebay haha.

And isn't it 50 years since the introduction of decimal currency??

All my Australian bank notes ended up in the charcoal chicken shop around the corner the first time I lost my job in 1993. Haven't been able to replace them ever since. Thankfully they were all circulated notes I put aside as they were withdrawn.
