The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

having a basic roast tonight (lamb) only 2 of us so just a small one, par boiled my potatoes and roughly shook the pot and then added flour before adding them to the roast - gets them nice and crunchy.

I want to make my own Hot Cross Buns for Easter too - any idea how hard it is?

Easy enough and certainly a hellova lot cheaper.

Using a breadmaker is the go.

Hmmm!  Stawks, does this mean you will having Mild Raw Meatballs tonight???

I'm going to be making our own not cross buns this year again .. mind you, I do have some significant help with the breadmaker making the dough for me first ... but in the past, I have made them from scratch.  The messiest part seems to happen when you put that dough stuff across the top givemeaspell.

I think if you had a meat meal on Yorkshire pudding it would be fair to call it a meat pudding!!

I've lost the plot ... I thought a Yorkshire pudding was something with a strange species of sausage in it?  Help!!!

or you thinking of Black Pudding?

Not sure what I was thinking of with the Yorkshire pudding givemeaspell, probably had it mixed up with something called 'Toad in a Hole'? .. I saw that today on the internet, seems it's a Yorkshire pudding with inlaid sausages.

Is 'black pudding' something to do with blood?  I remember someone telling me about it years ago and it tended to make me shudder and loudly shriek "blerk and gag" ..  Woman Indifferent
