After pay is supposed to be available on most listings, there are a few exemptions eg Collectable>Tobacciana?? but a lot of my listings are showing without the benefit of 'after pay' and you cant find out till item is completely filled out with all the relevant specifics that it does not qualify and therefore have to start all over again. Ebay have not set this up correctly. There is no list of proper exemptions to check before you start a listing and the ebay agents haven't got a clue. I have re-posted this question as I didn't know how to reply to helpful answer from a member, none of my items are over $400 and I have read the exemption list and as I said only Collectable>Tobacciana is on the list for Collectables.

Is there a way to revert back to the old store design? I cannot stand the new design. It is too hard to see categories. Thank you in advance.

eBay website says the final sale fee is $66 with GST but they are hitting me up for $522. That’s crazy. How can that be?

I have had a credit of $8.05 for a few years from a cancelled postage, I thought the only way to gain it back was to sell again on Ebay but no luck, sold an item but was charged the full amount of fees and still have a credit of $8.05 how can I ever get it back, also sick of Ebay charging fees on postage costs

I am constantly told by buyers that there is no 'REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER" in their cart. I have to get them to buy the items separately and then refund them the amount of combined postage. I have contacted Ebay a few times about this and they have checked my setting ad say everything is set properly and it must be issues with the buyers.. This is a constant problem.. Is any one else having this issue. Thanks in advance

I attempted to sell an item and a buyer "accidentally" overbid and contacted me to cancel their bid, unfortunately too close to closing the sale. I was then pressured to cancel the sale which I did. eBay charged me for the sale. I subsequently relisted the item under a different item number and sold it eBay charged me again. Finally eBay gave me a credit on future sales. Unfortunately In am unlikely to ever sell another item although I do buy the occasional item. Why can't I have the amount returned to me directly or in worst case credited to purchases? None of this was my doing. I was always trying to do the right thing but I have been the punished one.

I have listed a single item for sale, a hand bag, it is my first and only listing on eBay. I was contacted by a single buyer who has since disappeared after some correspondence back and forth. I am now being invoiced over $200 from eBay for an item that hasn’t been sold. Is that normal.

I wonder if anyone has recently experienced this. I always offer combined shipping, and occasionally that can mean waiting for several days between end of Seperate auctions, to combine the items into one invoice for the buyer. On two occasions recently, a couple of my regular buyers have paid early, incurring excess postage, because they said ebay threatened to cancel the transaction, if they didn't make payment on a specific date. Now if this is a new policy, its a bit disturbing because it's detrimental to both buyer and seller. Imagine awaiting a large payment from a regular customer, then having the transaction cancelled, surely that can't be right. Surely it's up to the buyer and seller to action transaction cancellations ?

This am woke up to a sale, YEAH !!!happy dance, but no! sale is for a necklace that we sold in March. What the???? Went back and worked through the old listing to see if we had made a mistake and listed 2 instead of 1, but no, dates are all wrong, and some other minor stuff looks a bit odd. So now have to contact the new buyer and apologise and refund. Has anyone had this happen, this is a first for us, and just wondering if this is occurring elsewhere. Thanks in advance.

I've been selling DVDs in a constantly stagnating market since 2005. In my item titles I include: name of the movie/program + year of release + how many discs + format (Region 4) + whether it's Brand new or other. I used to have over 3,500 titles listed but, since Netflix, Amazon Prime + Stan, etc. have become the main go-to for movies I've whittled my stock down to around 400. (Savers have the beneficiaries of a couple of thousand FREE DVDs which they flog for $2+ each). It makes no sense to go through item specifics for each individual title when the relevant info is there to see in both the title and the item description. EBay has lost me... I'm going to Facebook marketplace... the air is cleaner there.
