I recently had a dress removed by ebay for brand violation. (with 8 hours left on the auction ) I am very annoyed as I dispute the decision. The title was "Veronika Maine / A division of cue. Mocha brown dress. Apparently my reference to "cue" is a violation. On many veronika maine labels it states A DIVISION OF CUE. Before I listed this dress I "googled" is veronika maine a division of cue ? And it sure is. I now have my account restricted for 3 days. Surely the people who make these decisions do research before the willy nilly remove listings. I dont consider I have breached any policies. I have to wait for a decision and in the meantime the 17 watchers on this dress missed out and I cannot relist it for 3 days. I have asked for a review but that will take 24-48 hours ! not much help to me .. Would that also apply to STELLA MCCARTNEY for TARGET ? would appreciate feedback or any comments on this issue. thanks

I have what I think is a collectible. The maker was a good friend of a US celebrity from the 1960s and I have a pic of them together. Can I use the celebrity status; IE: his name, and pic in my add in order to target another type of buyer.? IE: a 'so and so' collectible just because the celebrity new the maker..? Is this illegal and/or audacious and subject to any unpleasant legal repercussions...?

Sold an iTunes gift card, previously did this and provided code with no problems. This purchaser is saying issues with code and if not fixed wants a refund. No issue with this but how do I know this is not a scam to have the card value and get a refund? Asked for a screenshot of the error code and have provided a copy of iTunes code. If give refund and itunes voucher has been claimed we are out of pocket...any thoughts

Hi all, I used bulk edit to add to my descriptions regarding postal times over Xmas and now want to remove the addition. Can I remove in bulk or do I need to go in to each individually please? I know I don't have many - but I'm lazy

Ebay say the word 'idiot' is ok, its seem there is no standard anymore and we can just use any words we like if we want including moran and imbecile. Is there a way to overcome or get real support if one is truly offended by this types of words?

It was of course a second hand item and I am not a commercial dealer. It was initially local pick up only and the buyer asked for posting it. The postage was the minimum amount and the buyer has been asking for an invoice because of the postage when all the messages regarding the postage back and forth have been all under ebay account messages inbox.. The buyer says she couldn't make a payment through palpal because it was 'pick up only'. I just don't want to do up the invoice. I think she is being unreasonable for not making a payment, isn't it?

I listed 3 old surfboards and sold 2. One on saturday night and one on sunday night. I sent an ebay invoice with contact phone and address to both buyers within 1 hour of listing finishing. I specified in RED TEXT in the listings that they MUST be collected by midday on Xmas Eve and as the time has now passed and I have heard nothing from either buyer I am not sure what my obligations are?? I feel I would rather throw them in the dump right now as this is going to muck me around somewhat but not sure what that outcome would cause. Am I within my rights to refuse to continue with these transactions?

On 24 October 2012 I sold an item to a buyer who lived reasonably close to me so I emailed and asked would they like to pick up. After not hearing I sent an invoice including postage Some time later I received a request for a new invoice minus the postage as they would pick up. This I did. She arranged a pick up time but did not call and did not explain. I have sent a further two emails asking her to pick up the item but to no avail. Now I have the money and the goods. What should I do as It is almost two months.

buyer left complete fabricated story that I wouldn't refund after i immediately offered and refunded reply pd postage and msgd her a copy of the refund transaction, all prior to receiving the item back. she also accused me of fraudulant photographs saying the photo wasn't the ring she received!! ebay have told me this doesn't meet criteria to be removed, how is it possible that completely fabricated feedbk is allowed to be posted with the intent to ruin a sellers credibility and ebay will do nothing? i dont understand this, are there any other options i can persue??

Received negative feedback after twice offering full refund of winning bid and postage. Buyer says item was faulty and not as described in listing. (velcro strap on shoe had come undone which I did not notice). I admit I did say 'like new' as I did not realise about the velcro but after I offered full refund should I have been given this negative feedback?

Hi, I know this is going to sound stupid but I deleted a bunch of recent transactions (I think in my head I thought they were being archived similar to what happens with items purchased) and now I need to cancel a transaction but when I go to the 'Resolution Centre' the said transaction does not appear for me to select. How can I get it back or restore it? Surely there is a way. If this is not an option offered by ebay I'm going to be ppreeeeeetttttty annoyed! Thanks in advance!

I m sick of people bidding on auctions and then dont respond. Wasting on precious time. have to wait 4 days to dispute & then another 4 days to relist item. Something must be done about that problem. Happened to me afew times.

Is there a way to put your shop on holiday but still receive and send orders if you are able to? Sounds like a dumb question I know. I don't want to miss sales but at the same time I don't want to be having to race to work each day to send orders to keep my DSR's up.

I have sold heavy leather-sewing machines in the past, as pickup items. Sometimes the interested buyer is interstate, so I insist on payment first, and then I put the machine in a wooden crate for their courier. I insist that the buyer "arrange, and pay" for their own courier. I also insist that the courier gives me a "Senders Copy" of the delivery details, with the buyers paypal address on it, before I hand over the machine. When I sell a machine this way, I have always accepted Paypal, and although the buyer has no paypal protection for a pickup, my question is: #1. If the buyers paypal account is funded by a credit card, and they decide they don't want the machine when it is delivered to them, can they do a chargeback ? #2. If they can do a chargeback, will they be required to return the machine to me before the chargaeback is made? or will their C/card provider just do a chargeback, and Paypal deducts that amount and returns it to their bank? Any advice regarding the safest way of being paid when the buyer uses their own courier would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Regards, John.

I had listed an item 2 weeks ago, the auction finished a week ago. I have not heard from the buyer, no payment has shown up in my accounts and I have not received a reply from my message to them. How long is reasonable to wait before writing them off and relisting item or offering 2nd chance, to other bidder?

i have a previous buyer selling one of my reborns that was purchased from me back in march this year. she has listed it as a NEW item and date of birth as december 2012 and though she has not claimed to have made it she has presented it in such a way on a template so that it appears she is the artist. i have sent her an email telling her that her listing is fraudulent and that i would report her if she did not remove it or adjust her listing. i intend to do this tomorrow if i do not see any changes or response from her but wanted to know ...does ebay block them if they see that they have posted a dishonest listing. am thinking of naming and shaming her by posting her item number and ebay id here as well as a warning to others?? she paid $350 for her, has had her for 9 months. listed her it as NEW and is asking for $525 on buy it now +$35 postage for a used item. maybe i should be flattered??? lol anyone else had this happen and know what ebay will do. i do have proof that it is my work. thank you
