Hi,   I want to add express postage on listings to compy with eBay changes coming in Feb for top rated sellers. But I am confused! Firstly, I thought Express Post doesn't meet Paypal seller protection requirements. Is that right?   Secondly, if I offer several postage options, how does the buyer select the one that they want when they pay?  If they request an invoice with the postage service they want, that is fine, but what if they just go ahead and pay? I use to have invoices editable, but it seemed complicated for the buyer to select anything other than the first postage option. Then I had someone edit the postage amount to less than the actual charge (they sent me stamps in payment!!) , so now I have invoices set to being non-editable. Yesterday I aked a question about if a store is opened are the fees of $49.99 flat rate or are there hidden costs??? One member posted a straight forward answer and was helpful, the second member blah blah blahed all the way to god knows where. This member presumed and stated... many things like my jewels are priced at lower prices therefore buyers wont believe it is real and he presumes i do not have buyer protection.. I do as all my items of value are registered and stamped etc etc He stated I should not have them in fine jewels when they are in fact fine jewels they are real they are stamped they are packaged with the real deal packaging. My low prices do not indicate that they are fake, it is my trade secret I buy low and pass the savings onto my buyers and still make a small profit (I have all relevant paperwork).   He even has put up stats about how my selling is not working and so on but I have only just listed jewels and have just sold one bracelet.....so I am unsure where he gets his stats from but they are misleading....Any other items I have sold in the past have not been jewels but general stuff like clothes, shoes etc   But the way he is written his answer comes across is presumcious, judgmental and destructive making me look like a bad seller and does not answer my simple question!!!! Its really upsetting and is not fair and is passive aggressive form of abuse taking away a sellers rights and reputation.   Please when others read posts answer the question short and simple rather than writing on presumtion and pretending to know it all and therefore becoming destructive rather than helpul to the other member. ... I have recently had an increase in a number of buyers failing to pay for items they have purchased.   I waited 2 weeks for this particular buyer to pay, which I think is more than fair.  Follow up emails and invoices sent with no response.  I opened and closed an Unpaid Item despute and received a credit for the fees on the item.   I just found the neutral feedback this buyer left yesterday for the item they failed to pay for.  I like to think people are honest and good buy I can't help feeling like this person is being vindictive.   I don't think it is fair a buyer can fail to complete the contract of sale and leave feedback on an item they didn't purchase.    I have looked through the feedback policies, is there something allowing this to happen that I have missed?   I am now going to block this buyer.   Any advice is appreciated.   Thanks ... The buyer paid super fast via paypal,  but trying to get a message or some form of communication from them is getting to be very hard.  Arrangements were made for them to pick up the item but they didn't show, so I asked if they would like to arrange another day and they apologised and said yes.. but thats as far as it all got.   I have been sweet as pie in my messages but no longer getting any response.  I have sent a message asking if they would like if  refund them the money but still no reply... I don't want to be a meanie but I really want the item out of my house & up in airs as to whether I can refund the money and put it back on ebay to re-sell the item?  I am scared if I do that I might get bad feedback.. but how long am I meant to wait? ... I have just listed a number of my 7 year olds Train sets and set a starting point for the auction bidding to start and also a "Buy it now" price, but I just cannot figure out how to set a 'Reserve price"???? I have clicked on selling tips which explain what it is, but when I click on 'Edit' my listing I just cannot see any way I can set a reserve price??? I am uncomfortable opening unpaid item cases against buyers, even though it sometimes encourages them to pay up. when they do pay it leaves me open to negative feedback from people who are offended by the unpaid item case. I am unable to invoice for postage on an item because the buyer is registered in the USA. The buyer has requested that I post to Sydney. The ebay invoice generator only gives the option to invoice for international mail not local. I am an Australian seller & I do not offer overseas postage. An overseas buyer purchased through a fixed price listing. I emailed them & they won't cancel the transaction. They sent me a grammatically incorrect email stating that they have Australia address Sydney nsw. They did not supply a postcode or street address. The message was signed Green which is not the sellers registered name. The seller is registered in California USA not Sydney NSW. I am unsure whether this is some kind of hoax? can anyone help me as i am confused and upset.   i have an international bidder (in UK) buy some australian items of memorabilia from my Australian ebay site.  I doubt they would even know who/what they are.   the bidder did not make any attempt to pay for them.  the bidder has not paid for them and unpaid bidder alert opened.   the buyer then posted 3 very negative and nasty comments.   how/why is this possible and how to i get them removed as it is an obvious attempt at someone just hell bent on leaving negative feedback with no recourse to them ...
