Re: 150 free listings

A few people here seem to have very short memories.  Stores have been getting LOTS of freebies roughly once a month for the last umpteen months, and that includes basic stores.

With the ability to do auto-relist on 30-day listings and effectively not have to list again for 120 days, stores are not being hard done by compared to non-stores!!  I for one am certainly not going to complain about such a fantastic deal.

Just be patient and there'll soon be more.

Re: 150 free listings

Gosh thats a while, given there have been several auction non-store offers between May and now.

I wonder why eBay don't encourage stores to have auctions in Oz - auctions are a tried and true way for me to increase traffic to my listings - they simply work for my market and my listings.

Re: 150 free listings

Hi,

Wouldn't suprise me, I'm probably wrong, but as far as I know, Auto Relist is available only on hubby's non-store ID.  I have never seen it as an option in my store ID  - where would I find it ?  It is very obvious when you list in hubby's ID, but never seen it in mine . . . . . .  Until now, we have always kept the two ID's totally separate

Re: 150 free listings

I was reading around they changed the pricing for using auctions with stores last year, that ebay was aiming to change its approach to compete with Amazon and other online retailers so that buyers get a more 'retail' experience.

There was also reference to their data at the time apparantly demonstrated that BIN's were fast outgrowing Auction listings, I can't remember if this is in relation to total sales or $$$.  This must be much more exacerbated now.

However, it seems ridiculous to interfere with how sellers sell as they would know best how to sell their products.  Isn't it all about profits after all?  I didn't know that US sellers get auctions in their store packages.  Having that mix was fantastic to bring buyers into the store, esp with some key labels.  I'm trying to run a store ID and auction ID with a link from the auction ID to the store.  Would be better if I could run it all under the one ID definitely, least of all because of what a pain it is to carry one listing over to the other, losing watchers, etc.

Re: 150 free listings

It's available to my store listings also.

It's a little check box just above the "confirm listing" button

Re: 150 free listings

Just re-listed an item so I could look for the Check Box, sorry to be such a pain, but still can't find it - these are the only check boxes I see.
Am I looking in the correct place ?
