Remember a couple of years ago when Ebay delivered branded tape to some of us sellers?
The 6 rolls have been sitting there gathering dust until I realised that since I am moving home in 2 weeks I can use it to tape up my packing boxes without having to go to Bunnings.
WIN!

That's why facebook is was so successful.
People didn't think nor care about the consequences of splattering their personal information all over the internet. Then they found their house robbed when they came back from holidays, or didn't get the job because the prospective employer had a squiz at their postings...
It always seems a good idea at the time. Especially when it saves seconds they could be using to post selfies.

I'm late to the party, as usual.
I've got 36 rolls, and the boxes, stacked, make for a good step stool.
No good for pet fur. A rubber glove is better.

somehow I think the cat is now a little to wary, to let me get anywhere near it with a rubber glove??

No no no no!
You use the rubber glove to wipe the furniture.
You sweep it into a ball and lift it off.
Works a treat.

The amount of data collection and sharing that goes on these days is really creepy - there is so much that goes on in the background, especially with the mobile apps. Facebook have also admitted to "social experiments", via curating what people see in their newsfeeds.
If I watch something on Netflix, on My PC, I get YouTube recommendations related to what I watched when on my phone. If I search for something on my phone, I get ads for that thing when browsing the web on my PC, despite having two different google accounts (one for each device). Google has so much info about people, whether they have a Facebook account or not.

.. and the scariest thing is, all of these big social media companies are having more frequent and large data breaches 😕

Do you still have that ebay tape by any chance

Doubtful after 4 1/2 years.
A simple search finds them.......................
