The worst customer service that i have ever experienced "No help at all from ebay''

I've been a member of eBay for over 13 years and full time selling on the platform for around 18 months.

 

Lately I’ve been having problems with eBay taking my listings down and suspending my account.

I have repeatedly tried to work with customer help regarding these issues and have received pre-approval from eBay for my ads,( I have many chat transcripts as evidence of this ).

Then after a month or so, the pre-approved ads are taken down by eBay again, and I'm suspended for another 7 days.

So far,  the only help eBay has given is misleading information and promises of follow-up emails and phone calls from eBay customer help supervisors that never come.

I’m at the end of my wits and just don’t know how to get help. eBay is my full-time income, it’s how I look after my Family, and I do appreciate your platform very much and would like the opportunity to expand my business on it in the future.

Can anyone please help me, all I need is a chance to get through to the department responsible for taking ads down, so I can explain my situation. If I could get a 10minute phone call with someone from that department or even a direct email address to someone in that department.

the frustrating thing is that I have had listings removed by eBay before AND I have successfully been able to re-list those items without having them removed again.

 

I also had one listing removed and got it listed again with a full grovelling apology from eBay for having removed it in the first place.

 

It is quite possible that the OP has had their item removed for the same reason that one of us has had an item removed.  However, there is something about the item/listing that the OP doesn’t want us to know about.  Maybe they are afraid that someone reading here will become a competitor if they know what the item is.  They did post that “this item is worth a lot to us”.  Maybe it is their niche item.

 

I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that maybe the listing hints at being open to off-eBay sales to get around Managed payments.

You will never be able to get to the right person, because there's no "decision maker" on the Ebay team. Customer service reps are just wage slaves in another country who have no idea how to actually help you.

 

I don't think anybody here in the forums can help you either as you refuse to give us any useful information.

 

There's obviously SOMETHING that you're doing wrong and Ebay keeps telling you so. Since sellers are responsible for the content of the listing, you need to to work out why you're getting slapped. Many people on these forums are also long time sellers and I would argue that most of us have never had a listing pulled by Ebay, and if we ever did, we would never list that item again, or would make sure to adjust it so that it complies with all policies.

Just to add - I've noticed that your items have watermarks and added text on the images.

That's a massive NO-NO. 

Perhaps that's why you're having issues?

 

"The following are not allowed: Photos that don't accurately represent the item. ... Photos with added text, artwork or marketing material. Watermarks of any type, including those used for ownership attributions."

Sheeeesh, this is like pulling teeth!

 

I post something in reply to another member and you then hint at it being correct and you want me to elaborate?  Not happening.  I’ve already posted beyond my “I’m out” post.  I was musing with another poster and not trying to help you when I posted the post you have replied to.
