eBay help team, if you are reading this, please help. I have purchased an item on 6th of November 2021. the Item was supposed to be delivered by at the latest 13th of January 2022. I was waiting for my order, when the seller contacted me on 28th of Dec asking whether I have received my order and if I did leave a 5 star review for them. I told them I'm still waiting and they said they will check it. I waited until after 13th of January and then contacted seller again. The seller replied they will check again and please wait, so I did. Few weeks later, I contacted seller again and asked whether my item was. I was tired of waiting and it was already February. I told them if the item is not going to arrive within a week please cancel my order and provide a refund. They replied back saying they were sorry blah blah and said they are very serious about customer service and they will send a replacement if I wanted, so I said yes. Few days later I asked them whether they have sent the order and could I have the tracking number. They said they have sent it and asked me to wait for few more days. So I did. During all the msgs that I had with the seller I tried to be polite and be understanding of their situation as I understand that logistics are having lots of problems worldwide(it was the reason why I waited for so long) I have waited and waited until march and contacted seller saying I still haven't received my item. The seller asked me to wait another 3-5 days, so I waited another week. I msged them yesterday I have waited a week and it is still not here. and they just replied thank you. I was like what??? thank you?? what do you mean thank you??!!! I kind of lost it there, I waited over 4 months for the item, asked the seller to cancel and refund me if the item is not going to arrive on time(was too late anyway). I tried to understand their situation and be polite when I wrote msgs to them. But what about my time? and the stress????? I wasted so much time msging this seller back and forth since 28th of DEC. so I sent another msg to them saying what do you mean by thank you? I have waited enough, and don't want to wait anymore. I have asked for a tracking number for the raplacement and they keep avoiding my question and keep telling me to wait. I really didn't want to involve eBay into this and just resolve the issue with the seller. and they replied back so rude, "We will check it, please wait." That was it! I was so frustrated! so I went into the purchase, clicked the item and tried pressing "my item hasn't arrived" from the more actions. It came up as an error. both on my phone and PC. Looking at the help page, it also said that there was an option for "eBay to step in" which I could not find on my more options. I wanted to leave a review for the seller, but I can't yet as my item hasn't arrived. I wanted to write eBay a msg and lodge a complaint with all the msgs that I had with the seller attached, but there are no option for me to do this. What should I do? my item is not expensive, but it is the time and energy and all the stress that I've got while dealing with this seller that makes me want to at least get a refund! and I want to leave a review for this seller.
