In mid-November 2021 I bought a 36V 6.0ah battery for my Ryobi mower. Its performance was immediately obvious as being well below par, probably no more than 25% that of a genuine Ryobi battery. I conducted several 'mows', over the next couple of months though, to allow the battery to discharge and recharge a number of times but with no sign of improvement. The battery is clearly faulty or has a true rating of 2.0ah - 3.0ah rather than the 6.0ah claimed. It is certainly not as described. I noticed today that the item had a 30 day return window which might account for why the seller has not responded to an email I sent on 4 February 2022 seeking a return. Ebay says this shouldn't matter if the items isn't as described. However, every avenue I've explored - trying to contact the seller, seeking help from Ebay, trying to start a return, trying to activate the Ebay money back guarantee etc - ends up looping me back to the same brick wall ie the return window was 30 days, mate, so that's goodnight nurse! It's worth noting that the item was sold with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. How that can possibly work when all doors are firmly shut after 30 days I'm darned if I know. Even the feedback option seems to have been removed. Is there any way of getting in touch with Ebay somehow? I'd be very glad if somebody can suggest a solution of sorts. At the moment I'm feeling mightily frustrated and defrauded.
