Why my ebay plus account cancel? I just renewed on 26 Sept 2021 paid $49 for 12 months. I did click the cancellation bottom supposed will automatic cancel on 25 Sept 2022. Anyone can help?

I need to change my email address, which I know how to do but...I had accidentally created a new account when Google threw up the option to use my account (and gmail address) with them to sign in. I wasn’t paying attention and a new account was created. I’ve cancelled that ebay account but am still unable to change my existing email address (which I ‘ll be cancelling soon) to that gmail address. I note that eBay states it can take between 30 to 60 days for the data to be deleted from a cancelled account. Does anyone have any experience with the actual time taken and is it worth chasing up with eBay to expedite matters. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I would like to cancel my ebay plus membership please. I clicked on ebay plus at the top left side from my home page but nothing happened. I received a robo-call saying a purchase had been made on my account for A$350 approx, and advising to push 1 etc if I hadnt made the purchase. I did not do this. I hung up and went and checked my ebay account and changed password on everything. Ebay you need to be aware of this.

I have used this account for many years that I set up I the UK. I can purchase here in Australia and have things delivered here but recently sold an item which would of been paid into PayPal now it wants a uk bank account and will not accept my Australian bank account? Do I have to set up anAus account and also use a different email address ?
