Hi guys! I now have my lens listed under auction with the starting bid and "buy it now" price the same at $4950. I have requested Paypal payment and specified registered post. I have a potential buyer (local) who wants my lowest price and said they can pick up next week. Can I accept a price lower than what I have listed thru eBay; can I sell earlier than the 7 days left to run; and can I accept a different payment method other than Paypal??? (I am progressing very cautiously and don't want to break eBay rules) Many thanks.

Hi, had a buyer purchase an expensive item then pay for it and buy another one, so i reveresed payment on first item and told them to pay for both together. Then they paid for 2nd item and not the first item, so i reversed 2nd payment and told them to pay for both together this time. But as the pay pal payments have been reversed, can they complete checkout again with the symbols saying payments reversed? Can i just log into pay pal and send an ivoice for total of items and mark as ebay item?

Help !!! What do you do if a buyer hasn't paid and doesn't answer invoice requests or messages that ask him if there is a problem, please contact me etc... This is the first time this has happened to me and not sure what to do, I know it's only been 3 days since the auction ended, but how long should you have to wait for payment or contact? Am I being unreasonable as I'm not sure? I would appreciate some help please.

After leaving bids on 4 items, and then retracting the bids 3 days later, with the reason being "entered wrong amount" from an experienced buyer/seller with 689 feedback - why?? Also, does anyone else think it would be a good idea for retracted bids to show at the top of the listing next to bids as (-1) and so on, and show the username. That way it would be easy to check if that bidder has been doing that with other listings? Cheers.

Long Story ...Short Version: Buyer purchased and paid 11/6 I sent 11/6 via Courier. Buyer contacted me 27/6 when did I send, parcel not arrived. I tracked immediately, item held at WA Depot, delivery attempted and carded 3 times, awaiting contact from buyer. I replied to buyer with info, no reply. Followed up 2 days later with Courier, no contact from buyer. Messaged buyer again, then following day requested contact details from Ebay. Phone and address QLD - disconnected phone...Paypal address WA - has moved I guess and not updated ebay details. I emailed buyers paypal email - returned to me undeliverable. I contacted courier yesterday, still no contact, asked courier to please hold at WA depot until 13th so I can try to contact buyer again. Third and final message sent to buyer advising this. What else can I do?? Just waiting for INR dispute now. Last resort, just back from AP sending express letter to buyer address asking to contact my landline (reverse charge if need be). Anything else I should do if I do not hear by 13th when courier will re-direct back to me.

Hi everyone. As a seller I no longer wish to offer Visa/Mastercard as a payment option as I have closed my merchant facility. I obviously need to change this on my payment options for products that I am selling so that people don't get upset but the thought of reviewing all 200 items one by one to uncheck the Merchant Box in Payment Options is overwhelming. Is there a quick way to change this on all items in my store at the same time.

My buyer is from the US, but is currently in New Zealand, he wants me to post the item with FedEx to his son who is in Nigeria for his birthday. The item was a watch worth $60, once you put on postage your better off buying a new watch. It just sounds dodgy and I don't want to get ripped off, what do I do in this situation?!?! Any advice would be great

Hi, i have a number of multiple variation item listings that have ended with only 1 item left ie 6 listed 5 sold leaving 1 remaining. I wish to relist the remaining 1 as an auction. My problem is it won't seem to let me relist (by using "relist or "sell similar") in the action format even if i remove the variations. I'd like to avoid having to list these if they are entirely new listings as it seems like such a waste of time when all the information in already in the system. I'm sure I have been able to do this in the past. Anyone know how to proceed? Thanks

I recently requested some info on a product on ebay which I had every intention of bidding on, however the seller failed to respond to my email. The auction still had two days to go, so they did have time to reply. I have since sent them an email querying why they did not respond and once again have not heard back. It seems this seller could not be bothered with questions and just wanted a quick sale. Is there a way to be able to leave feedback for them and future buyers regarding their lack of communication as it is an item I would have bought if the seller had communicated back.

It is the only product I am selling so I think a store is an overkill. I am just working on my first listing. I have searched the help section but cannot find the best solution. Should I just list each colour as a separate auction? And if so, put multiple items available? Thanks 🙂
