Hi there, I can't understand why Ebay are saying that my selling is below standard and may restrict my account. I'm only a small seller and do it for a hobby, that puts on a few items and have been doing this for years. All of a sudden I get emails saying this. It's upsetting that I may have to stop selling after all of these years and sounds like they're saying you're not selling enough so you're out the door. Does anyone have any ideas what to do? Thank you very much.

can I get compensation for this? the buyer clearly stated in the case it wasn't my fault and he couldn't send back the products as it was stolen out of the package on his country. Why would eBay just ignore this, I provided tracking etc. and they still refunded him

As a seller I find the new hub seller screen so confusing and want to enable to switch back to the old seller screen , how can I do it.

Still trying to work my way around the new system. Have already printed label packed parcel to go . Still showing 6 mins to go or similar? Items paid for but message reads we will send a reminder for the buyer to pay or you can send an invoice ? The system does not seem to keep up with actual time.I have to triple check an item to see where it is at, also whats with the user name not showing unless you click on the bid?? So do not know if I have a multiple buyer unless I waste more time & its getting very confusing. So Not Happy with this system. Any body else ??

I listed 4 items well bellow cost that weigh 5kg each. The postage was $16, which is the cost of sending 5kg in satchel. I do not know how it happened by somehow it shows as postage $16 and further items FREE. So, somebody bought 2 and paid only one postage. I did not select that option, none of my other items has that option. I cannot see how to unselect it. HELP

I am trying to list an itme for auction statrting at $40, I have no other active listings and I have a 100% rate with ebay. I get the error message that I can only list under $10 worth of items? It wont let me increase this limit?

Gretings, I am having issues changing prices using file exchange, I download my file CSV & open in Excel (also tried open office ods), change the pricing in the speadsheet. I change the item number from "scientific ?" format back to a number (no decimal places) so that it looks like an item number. I save the file again as a csv file & upload. I am continually get the following message "Error - Input data for tag <Item.ItemID> is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.|Item.ItemID|" I have a mixture of single line items (each with it's own ItemID) & some listings with variants which all fall under the one ItemID. The Error codes Reference does not cover this. Any advice / guidance would be appreciated.

i get a message saying i need to give license or passport to sell on ebay well for a start i dont own either so im sure theres other people in the same boat i guess ill sell on gumtree then

CAN YOU HELP. I have a Basic Store Subscription, However I am being charged, $3.30 insertion fee for items such as books or dvd movies when selling as auction items. Before having a store I was been charged .99cents for listings on weekends. Even though I am provided with Free Fixed Listings the Insertion Fees in other categories of $3.30 eliminates this fixed fee discount. Is this normal as I have read here that some store owners are paying only .50cents for some of their listings. I have searched Ebay and cannot find the auction insertion fee for Basic Store Subscribers in the various category.

Pick Up Only item. Buyer asked if I would post which I said I would and gave a rough postage cost to do so. Buyer has bought and paid immediately on the Pick Up Only price. How can I invoice for the postage costs as I don't see an option to do so?

HI everyone sold an item 12/3 Used integrated ebay postage method ( sendle) so buyers address automatically added and trackign details also Item marked as delivered 17/3 buyer immediatley contacted me to say it was NOT delivered adn raised a case via ebay I responded to the case adding the tracking details That was 7 days ago and the case is still showing "awaiting buyer's response" Do I ask ebay to step in and help? Will the insurance from sendle kick in ? If so who has to contact sendle? Me as the seller? Happy to do so but can't find contact details Buyer raised a case with sendle also she messaged me - after she had opened the ebay dispute, but didn't message within the case dispute just ebay messaging saying sendle told her to tell me to give her a refund which I think is unlikely I have tired ebay assistant and ebay chat - useless - they just tell me the item is marked as delivered which obviously I know I obviously will try to help but dont' see that I should be liable for a refund Thoughts? Advice?

I was contacted by a supposed purchaser via an item I am selling. I strongly believe that this person was attempting to scam me and I wish to bring this to the attention of Ebay so perhaps you can block him/her

Hi all, Can a buyer cancel a paypal payment after an item is posted and before the paypal payment clears? Item has sold and the Paypal payment is currently on hold in my account. I plan to send this item with tracking and request a signature as requested by ebay. As this is an expensive item, I'm extremely reluctant to post before I actually recieve the payment from Paypal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I listed an item for $500.00 but accepted an offer for $300.00 and ebay have charged me $40.00. The invoice says it was based on the selling price of 500. How can i dispute this fee

I have had my share of the above. Could eBay change the wait time before relisting from eight days to four days (two days for seller message to buyer and two days for eBay message). Surely this would assist in a faster opportunity for both the seller and eBay to beneifit from the item for sale. Regards Gerard

Hi, I'm a casual seller who is now on the new fee/payment system. I'm trying to make sense of why I was charged so much in fees recently. I sold two items for $40 plus combined $18.95 in postage, and I paid for the postage through Ebay. I was charged $8.20 in fees. It was a fixed price style listing in the antiques section and I didn't do any upgrades that I'm aware of. Could someone please explain how I lost over 20% of my sale price in fees? Thanks for your help!

Hi, I am trying to list an item for sale. Some of the areas are shaded and can't be changed - the formal for selling - I want an auction and its on Fixed price - then I need to change the Quantity and that is also shaded. What am I doing wrong please? I have been listing other items tonight and this is my only hic-cup!!! Thanks for any help.

here in australia you must have a PAYPAL account to have a ebay account to buy and sell you must have PAYPAL as a method of payment is this the same world wide.

As the new Ebay payment system has a 2 day processing time attached, does this mean that I can no longer make an instant payment using Paypal? In effect, this will add 2 days to the shipping time for purchases.
