As no benefit has been noted in over 2 months of deligent Instruction following contact with the product website. I was made to believe the product purchased on the Ebay web site could be counterfeit or fake. My question is if there are Stringent Checks and Investigations placed on products sold at a price point on this platform the same as the original from the official website.

It is incredibly frustrating considering you convert USD to AUD in the listings, you click on something only to find out it is in (predominantly) the US. Why would you remove the 'Australia Only' sorting option? Seems eBay just likes to continually make things harder and harder for buyers.

Hello, I purchased an item on the 13th of July 2024. Originally the seller was responsive and told me it would be delayed due to needing parts, then later because of his fathers funeral, then he just never responded. I’ve messaged him a couple times but haven’t really checked up on it because I’ve been busy. Either way, my messages have been ignored and it doesn’t seem like I’ll be getting my product or even the decency of a reply. Is there any way I can contact eBay to get this sorted despite it being over 90 days? Thanks.

Why does ebay display the same item on multiple pages, why can't they be happy with putting it up once. The reason this frustrates me is because, instead of having to look through, let's say 9 pages of a category, I have to look through 19 pages. Not real impressed.

I have started a return on Ebay but the address to return item/s to is not in English and I have tried emailing but it comes up with a default email back to you that is also not in English. Where do I go from here as you can't access Ebay to help until after certain time -frames.

Hi, I bought a camera on ebay and used Pay in 4 on PayPal, when I clicked to complete my payment it loads and suddenly there's an error on eBay. PayPal already deducted the amount in my bank account but on eBay the camera that I purchased is not in my purchased tab. When I check on my PayPal I saw the transaction there but its pending and theres a quote saying "This is a temporary authorisation to make sure your payment method can cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Pay in 4 completes your order." What should I do? should I just wait and see if my payment will go thru or it will refund me automatically? Thanks

When I search, I purposely choose Australia as the product location from the filters. I choose this option because I want my delivery to be quick - i.e. I don't want to wait the 2-4 weeks for it to come from overseas and I'm prepared to pay that little bit extra because I want it quicker.. Unfortunately When you choose this option, it also shows sellers "WHO CLAIM" to be Australian Based, but they are either based in China or ship from overseas location. If you click on the Store Name under the Product Title, then on the following page, choose ABOUT, it will show you where the seller is really located. I want to be able to choose a seller based in Australia and shipping from Australia. Surely eBay cab fix this issue!!

I purchased a second hand auto electrical part and had it fitted, but auto electrician says it's faulty. Ebay has rubbish customer service, cant get a hold of anyone, cant call, get led down the garden path of links, etc. when just want to talk to a human! Also had a bad experience with a seller where didnt want to cancel an order after 2 weeks not sending then at last minute decided to send after I tried to cancel it!

I don't often use the app but I would if there was AU $5 off a purchase I want to make. I want to buy something that is actually from the US, but it doesn't show the $5 off even though it's over the minimum of $50. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is it because the item isn't eligible or that it is not from Australia?

I purchased a Sunshine Recorder on ebay just over a month ago. It arrived and I unpacked it to find that the three items inside were nothing to do with a Sunshine Recorder, just some pieces of machined metal. I initiated a Return for Refund with images, and within 30 minutes had received a phone call and messages from the seller stating they apologised for the inconvenience, they had made a mistake, and they would send the proper item with a Tracking Number, as soon as I closed the Return Request. My question is: Do I close the Return Request before I receive the correct item (as the rules state I cannot reopen the Return Request if I close it now), or should I leave it open and ask the seller to send anyway??
